Nice sculpture worth a look at
This is a nice sculpture tucked away in a corner. It is well worth taking a look at. Very detailed. There are some Cafes/Restaurants nearby to stop for a drink.

If there's one monument in Dusseldorf that's got to be seen it's the Stadterhebungsmonument just off Burgplatz. This wonderful piece of art ,the work of sculptor Bert Gerresheim was unveiled in 1988 ...

Couldn't quite fathom why this was rated the third best thing to see in Dusseldorf, but, nonetheless, I happened upon it by chance and spent a moment with it, before continuing to explore.
