Askja

Ascha volcano, a volcano in central and eastern Iceland, about 97 km southeast of Akreli. At an altitude of about 1,510 meters, it is the highest peak of Mount Dingyufu.

Planned an extra day stay in Lake Mi, originally to take a helicopter to see the melt or sign up for a day trip to Askja to hike the volcanic landscape.
