The streets of Edinburgh are mostly narrow and tortuous, but the buildings are mostly magnificent. Stone-built streets, stone-built buildings, like a magnificent setting of a medieval drama, full of spires, castles, cliffs and classical stone columns, are amazing. There are also street performers in kilts playing the bagpipes, reminding me of the ancient center of Scotland.
