The area is well lit up and is safe for tourist, perfect for taking a stroll along the open seaside. It’s a great place just to hang out and enjoy the atmosphere, there are bikes to rent and you will see the local kids having the time of their lives riding up and down. There is plenty of sitting areas and benches that you can sit down and absorb it all in. The Puerto Princesa City Baywalk opens at 1 pm to 11:00 pm daily. I would recommend visiting around 5 pm so you can get there as it turns from day into night.
