San Diego Children's Discovery Museum

This was a great place for young children (0-5) to run around, play and learn, although all children are welcome. If they are older than the young children (0-5) then they may not find this very enjoyable. The place is divided into sections and each section is themed based on the sponsor whom donated money. There is a Pirate Themed area, Dentist Themed area, Color and Building/Construction Themed area indoors. There is a Nature, Water and Animal Themed are outside. The children are free to roam the indoor and outdoor area as they please. The prices are decent while offering a discount to Military, Veterans and their families. The recommended length of time to spend the should you child meet the young children age requirement, would be about two (2) hours.

If you want a hand's on experience with the kids, this place is great. We used to visit it often, but now my kids are teenagers and all they do is on their laptops or phones.

This is one of my all time favorite children's museums. It is built for hands-on fun!

This is such a great museum for kids. But I think it's a geared more two younger children such as toddlers. Love the garden area.

Safe and entertaining place to take your little ones to play with all sorts of interesting toys. If you live in Escondido it is worth it to buy a membership and take the kids here often to play. I think it is best for children that are at least a year old to maybe 6 years old.
