3 popular buildings in Paris 🗼🏗️🌆
#citywalk
Travelling to Paris, there are 3 world famous buildings that representing the country that you must visit to:
1) Eiffel Tower
- It’s a masterpiece that built on 1889 which is more than hundred years. Nowadays, it is 1 of the most unique and top 1 attractions where the tourists will definitely visit when travelling to Paris. People always say: If you did not visit this place, you never come to Paris! Therefore, please make sure that this place is in your list during the visit. Personally, I will highly recommend you going to Trocadero as you can enjoy the full view of Eiffel Tower while the street artist is performing the romantic songs.
2) Arc de Triomphe
- The building honours those who died for France during the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars, with the names of all French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces. Honestly I have no idea how to get to the building from the opposite road as it located in the centre of the roundabout and I dint see any pedestrian walkway to cross over. 😅😅
3) Musee de Louvre
- This is the largest museum in the world with the world famous painting - Mona Lisa inside. The entrance is not free of charge so you can either choose to pay for entrance OR take photo outside only. Personally I dint go in due to budget constraint the entire trip, however, i think it is worth to pay a visit and will arrange it next time.

Magnificent Colosseum
Located just east of the Roman Forum, the massive stone amphitheater known as the Colosseum was commissioned around A.D. 70-72 by Emperor Vespasian of the Flavian dynasty as a gift to the Roman people. In A.D. 80, Vespasian’s son Titus opened the Colosseum—officially known as the Flavian Amphitheater—with 100 days of games, including gladiatorial combats and wild animal fights.
After four centuries of active use, the magnificent arena fell into neglect, and up until the 18th century it was used as a source of building materials. Though two-thirds of the original Colosseum has been destroyed over time, the amphitheater remains a popular tourist destination, as well as an iconic symbol of Rome and its long, tumultuous history.

Tower Bridge 🇬🇧
#londontrip
The famous Tower of London Bridge is definitely a place I would recommend to visit if you are in London. The views from above are spectacular and have glass floors that you can stand on to see the road and the River Thames from above. It also has many facts, videos, and even some interactive parts. Tickets also include access to engine rooms that were equally interesting. However, if you don’t want to wait 20-30 minutes, book in advance! Overall, the experience was an experience you didn’t want to miss!
It’s “just a part of the London scene” – I had no idea I could walk through the top of this iconic London structure! What a great experience The option of stairs or elevator takes visitors to the “top” and from here you have the option to walk through the length of the bridge through the glass walkway or across the “normal” floor! Great discussions and challenges on the part of most people. I admit I chose to do half and a half!
Although it was gray and cloudy, the views were great. It was great to see the Tower of London, which had been England’s tallest building for centuries, dwarfing in front of the city’s modern buildings.
From the walkway we were then able to visit the Victorian machinery gallery that once ran this bridge. Machines that were works of art! Definitely worth a visit.
Tower Bridge - Londoners fave landmark 🇬🇧
While visiting London, there are a few key landmarks you absolutely can not miss. Tower Bridge is definitely one of them! It amazes not only the visitors but also holds a special place in the hearts of many Londoners. It's not just a remarkable architectural structure but also a cherished symbol of the city's history and identity.
For locals, Tower Bridge represents more than just a crossing over the River Thames; it embodies the heritage and pride of London. Its iconic silhouette against the skyline is a constant reminder of the city's rich past and its continuous evolution.
Londoners often appreciate Tower Bridge for its beauty, engineering marvel, and the role it plays in connecting different parts of the city. Many have fond memories associated with the bridge, whether it's passing over it during their daily commute, enjoying the views from nearby locations, or taking part in events hosted in its vicinity.
To me, it's often a place of meetings and a beautiful backdrop to admire while going for walks along the River Thames. :) #falltrip #mytravelhacks #localguides #historicallandmarks #london
