Èze Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
Eze Village - France: This is a lovely village that I like most compated to other cities around there. We have to pay for an entrace fee to the top in order to see the beautiful view. This is very worth paying which highly recommended.
Eze Village Botanical Garden - Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea
It's about a 40-minute drive from Nice, the transportation is not very convenient, you can only take a taxi. I have to say that the scenery is worth it!! There are many cacti and other flowers and plants in the botanical garden on the castle, but the most beautiful check-in point is still the sea view~
My fav village on the french riveria 😍🇫🇷😍🌵🍀🌴🌿
#timetotravel
Èze village is a charming small town on the french riveria that is up on the hill, therefore it is a bit tricky to get to by train.
You will have to either uber, hike or bus from the eze train station. The bus stop is always crowded and the bus does not run very frequently. For ubers, we called one but the driver tried to rip us off and said he has to charge more when he arrived. As for hiking, I would not recommend hiking up since the French sun is a killer ☀️…
If you are coming from Nice, I would hands down recommend taking the buses 82 or 112 and the journey would take you approx 30 minutes.
Although èze is more difficult to get to as compared with the other cities on the french riveria, you should not miss out on visiting it!!!
In the heart of èze is a botanical garden called Le Jardin Exotique. Definitely would recommend visiting because the views is GOD SENT. It is advised to get tickets at the machine at the beginning of the slope and not at the ticket office, so that you wouldn’t have to queue!!!

Top recommended attraction on the whole internet! If you plan to visit only one small town, I would never recommend Eze.
The romanticism of southern France is famous for its charming small towns. Many people visit Eze because of travel guides. Eze is indeed beautiful, but if you only have time to visit one small town, of course, you want a travel experience with higher cost performance. I recommend a small town that is highly recognized by the French and will leave you with unforgettable memories for a lifetime.
📍Detailed address:
She is located at Cap Martin in Roquebrune, which is 6.4 kilometers away from Monaco and very easy to reach.
🚉Transportation guide: Bus routes 18, 24, and 12 directly reach the entrance at the foot of the mountain. Self-driving is also convenient with two parking lots available.
❤️Recommendation reason:
1. The area is much larger than Eze, go there and have fun.
In the two towns, there is a castle built in the 10th century. Inside the castle, there is a window that looks like a window to heaven, breathtakingly beautiful.
Each household's house has a different colorful hue, with lush plants and gorgeous flowers. A hundred-year-old wisteria decorates an entire street.
In one of the four towns, there is an olive tree with a history of over a thousand years. Everyone should go and see it for good luck.
The most important thing is that there is a beautiful sea view here, which is more than what Eze has. The reality faces the sea, and it's a warm and blooming spring day.
👍Most recommended:
The castle is a must-visit, with a five euro admission fee per person, it will definitely let you capture picturesque scenery like a postcard.
💰Average cost per person: The number of town restaurants is relatively more than that of Eze, and most of the seats are in the position to enjoy the sunny sea view. Each dish starts at 18 euros, and the average cost per person is around 25 euros if you don't order dessert.

Jardin Exotique d'Eze Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
The view from the Jardin #Eze
Just breath taking views.
Eze Jardin exotique

You MUST add this stunning garden to your bucket list when visiting. The views were absolutely breathtaking. The floral scents were unique and relaxing. It’s a bit of a walk up and around but I also travelled with some who have a bit of trouble on extensive walks and were able to enjoy this experience. Drink lots of water, carry with you. There’s some great dining areas along the way as well
When you get to the city, probably by bus, and you start walking up the heavily inclined road, on the right there is a virtual kiosk that you can use to buy the tickets early if you don’t want to wait in line when you get to the entrance of the park after walking for probably 30 or more minutes.
It was gorgeous! The trek up there was definitely worth it. Not only is the view beautiful, but it has many flora, sculptures, mini waterfalls, and historical info to look at.
There is drinkable water on the other side of the castle when you follow the path down if you are low on water.
The shops are very cute to look at, but are quite over priced, so beware of the trinkets that you see there.
The most beautiful town in France: EZE Eze town
23 days of small trips in France, bags visited There are many French towns, each with its own taste, but the favorite is the Eze town on the Cte d'Azur.
EZE's botanical garden is the best place to watch the sea in Eze, don't miss it.
The exotic botanical garden on the top of the town of Eze was once a castle. It was destroyed by the army of Louis XIV during the Spanish War of 1706, and the ruins of the castle became the current botanical garden. In the exotic botanical gardens, hundreds of exotic plants are gathered, including: agave, aloe vera, cactus and so on. There are more than 400 varieties, mainly from the Americas and Africa.
Eze is world famous for its most beautiful panoramic view of the Mediterranean. Located in the mountains along the Mediterranean coast, the highest mountaintop is one of the highest points on the Mediterranean coast in southern France. The 360-degree sea and mountain views are unobstructed, and the sea and sky are in the distance. The blue waters and the lush mountains complement each other. In addition to these exotic flowers, the
botanical garden has many female sculptures by the French sculptor Jean-Philippe Richard. Each one has a different name, but all of them are the same calm posture, calm expression, facing the sea.

The Old Papal Palace (not in the Vatican)
I didn’t know there was a Papal Palace in France until I visited one in Avignon.
It was an old building but still pretty interesting. The place Is really big and good for 2 hours long. There is an interactive tablet that serves as a guide as well. It makes use of VR so that was pretty cool.
It’s the main attraction in Avignon and a must visit, although it’s not something incredibly breathtaking.
