The Porto Cathedral is located on the prominent hills of Porto. It was built around 1110 and is one of the very old buildings of the city. The overall architecture of the church is a mix of Gothic and Baroque styles. The ornate rose windows and gates and the main altar itself are purely late Baroque, and the elegant interior of the Gothic cloister is stunning. In addition, there are many beautiful blue-and-flower tile murals inside the church, which is also a major feature of Portuguese architecture.
