Daguishan National Forest Park

Daguishan Scenic Resort is centered on Daguishan National Forest Park, starting from Hejiang River in the east, National Highway 207 in the west, the old route of National Highway 207 in the south, and Leshan Station in the north, with a total area of ​​40 square kilometers. Daguishan National Forest Park was built in 1993. It is located at the junction of Hunan, Guangxi and Guangdong provinces, about 30 kilometers from Hezhou City, 230 kilometers from Guilin City, and 254 kilometers from Guangzhou. The forest coverage rate is 93%, and the negative oxygen ion content is 69120 per cubic centimeter. There are many kinds of strange vines and trees, canyons, clear streams, and waterfalls can be seen everywhere. It is a natural plant kingdom and natural oxygen bar. The main scenic spots include Yunzhan Lake Landscape, Rattan World, Wuma Guicao Waterfall, Liuyangding, and the old site of the bandit nest. Yunzhan Lake: It is one of the main attractions of the park. The lake is about 10 meters deep and clear. There is a teahouse in the Yunzhan Pavilion by the lake for tourists to rest or relax on the way. As for the paths in the deep mountains and dense forests, they are a place for tourists to explore the wonders and appreciate the true meaning of mountains and rivers. There is a kind of charm. Rattan World: There are more than 20 kinds of rattan in Daguishan National Forest Park, which can be seen everywhere. The largest one is about 25 cm in diameter and about 3,000 meters long. The shapes are more peculiar, including round, square, flat, triangular, etc. And some rattans are precious plants, such as Millettia reticulata and Tillandsia serrata. Wuma Guicao Waterfall: It is formed by the confluence of five canyon tributaries. There is a small waterfall opposite Wuma Guicao Waterfall. They are like the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl looking at each other from a distance, so it is also called Yuanyang Waterfall. The waterfall is about 30 meters high. It is the highest waterfall in Guidong area, deep, majestic and spectacular. Liuyangding: 1,208 meters above sea level. It is the highest viewing pavilion in Guidong area, surrounded by clouds and mist all day long; it contains a mysterious historical and cultural legend. Here, you can have a bird's eye view of the undulating forest scenery and enjoy the winding Hejiang River scenery. The old site of the Green Forest (the old site of the bandit’s den): It was the place where the Green Forest heroes lived on the eve of liberation. There were gullies and ravines in front of the gate, and the natural fortifications were as solid as a rock. It was easy to defend and difficult to attack. It was a place that military strategists had always fought for. In the early 1950s, the Green Forest heroes were finally annihilated under the repeated strong attacks of the People’s Liberation Army’s bandit suppression troops. The Green Forest old site is so magical and steep that it still amazes people today.
