This palace is located in the alley on the east side of the Basilica of San Pedro. It is really hard to find. We searched for a long time. It’s actually a palace, but it’s actually the Medici’s house. You can see the statue of David as soon as you enter the door, but the face is a member of the Medici family. The entrance ticket is 10 euros. After entering, you can see the Medici everywhere. The family crest and beautiful murals. The whole mansion is low-key and luxurious.
It is hard to think about renaissance Florence and not think about the powerful Medici Family. The unique stone facade is very nice, and the interior courtyard is beautiful. It is worth visiting for its architectural uniqueness, as well as the vital role the Medici family played in the development of Florence
Medici family's main palace. Impressive external architecture but was closed when I was there in 2006.
