This is an area with lots of incredible murals. There are also a lot of homeless people and some rough looking areas. It seems like it would be a big area to walk and a little sketchy in places partic...
Change takes time but there is still a lot to do here.... too many empty lots and stores so that walking at night is a bit worrisome here. Many streets, 2nd in particular, are very crowded and busy. O...
Outdoor murals and a few indoor art display rooms, great place to grab a non-basic, basic insta! I visit every time I'm in Miami, not a pleasant place in the rain, but they're still open, just bring a...
Fantastic art that is not only in this outdoor gallery but venture around and you’ll see many graffiti artist works that will blow you away! Gritty, urban, some areas are not so safe so use your stree...
If you love art, galleries, graffiti and food THIS IS THE AREA FOR YOU TO EXPLORE!!!
When people ask me what a good pitstop in Miami is, I always tell them Wynwood. It's just an awesome hub of culture. YOu've got a ton of delicious restaurants, the Wynwood Walls, and so many cool shops. It's the perfect place to spend the afternoon walking around!
One of a kind artsy experience, tons of fun bars and amazing restaurants. A must see in Miami.
The Wynwood Arts District is home to over 70 Art Galleries, Retail Stores, Antique Shops, Eclectic Bars, and one of the largest open-air street-art installations in the world.
I loved going and seeing the graffiti art on the sides of buildings and even on the sidewalks in the Wynwood Arts District. You could easily spend hours here if you wanted to try to see everything, and then probably still not see everything. The artwork is amazing. If I were to describe the area, it would be as a rundown section of town trying to make it's comeback into the place to be--so some areas I wondered if I should even be there, but yet they seemed to have some nice stores along the area, as well.
