After finishing our trip to the Kii Peninsula in Kushimoto Town, we took the JR train north and arrived at Yuasa Town in Arita District, Wakayama Prefecture.

This Yuasa town is not unfamiliar to me. Been here twice before, this is the third time. I didn&#39;t expect that I would get a big surprise when I got off the car.
Yuasa Station has changed a lot and is now a brand new station. There is a square, a parking lot, and a station building called Yuasa Ekigura in front of the station. In addition to the tourist exchange center and information center, the building also has a library and a cafe.

Because it was late January when we went there, there were all kinds of lights in the square in front of the station, making the square in front of the station particularly beautiful.

After taking some night photos in the square in front of the station, we immediately went to a small restaurant not far away to have dinner. I had been to this shop once a few years ago. The food was delicious and left a deep impression on me, so I came again this time.

The name of the shop is Kadoyā Shokudo. It is right next to the station, only a 1-minute walk away, and is very easy to find. Their whitebait rice is especially delicious. It is worth tasting.
After dinner, we went to a B&amp;B in the Yuasa Ancient Street to drop off our luggage. Then we took a stroll in the quiet streets of Yuasa.

The ancient streets, the starry sky and the gentle sound of the waves make me feel very comfortable. These are hard to enjoy in the city.

At 8 o&#39;clock the next morning, we walked out of the door of the B&amp;B and took a walk in the ancient building preservation area of ​​Yuasa Town. As the birthplace of Japanese soy sauce, Kakucho, which was founded in 1841, has always been a famous corporate representative here. Visitors can come here not only to visit but also to experience. Introduced by a local friend, we went to a coffee shop☕️ to have breakfast. This small shop called Symphony opens at 7:30 in the morning and is a favorite among locals.

We sat down and ordered a breakfast set. After a while, many regular customers came into the store. They sat in a circle around the store manager, ordered coffee☕️ and started chatting. The manager said to them: &quot;Don&#39;t worry, I need to make breakfast for them first.&quot; After saying that, Chang Lian and the customers turned around and looked at us. He asked us very curiously where we were from. How do you feel about Yuasa? He even praised the female companion he was traveling with as a beauty [so happy]. To be honest, I haven&#39;t had such a happy breakfast in a long time. I was really touched by the enthusiasm of the locals. This further deepened my favorable impression of Yuasa.
