Be attracted by the luxury here and the undisguised temptation of food. In Dubai, there is nothing you can't do, only things you can't think of, so just enjoy yourself.
The dazzling world of food makes it difficult for us to choose what to eat. When we come here, many people will simply give up their original weight loss and exercise.
When we were in Dubai, I felt like eating only when I ate at the Atlantis, so we tried the buffet at this restaurant in Atlantis. I can only say that it was OK. The service was average for Dubai, nothing special, but the food was excellent. There was a huge selection, all of it of the same quality as in Atlantis. The desserts were just OK. I have been to many, many great hotels and have been disappointed by their boring buffets. When I go to a good hotel I also expect good food, and I was very happy with Atlantis. For the buffet, I can only give it a five. I keep in mind to stay away from places that are too crowded and promise to do all the great food soon.
The UAE trip was arranged to stay in Atlantis Hotel in Dubai for two days. On the first morning, the free buffet breakfast was served at the famous Kaleidoscope restaurant. The restaurant offers a fusion of Mediterranean and North African styles. The diverse cuisine here is as colorful as the name of the restaurant, like a "kaleidoscope". In the KALEIDOSCOPE restaurant, a variety of cuisines from multiple regions with subtle differences in style create an international dining experience.
Waited half an hour for one drink but not that busy Empty tables on a Saturday night so not that busy. I ordered a bottle of beer. After 15 minutes, the beer arrived, just not the one I ordered. The male waiter did not apologize. Instead he told me they don’t have the beer. I said “it is on the menu.” He repeated they didn’t have the beer. Was I supposed to drink this other beer and pay for his mistake?! I rarely write a nagative review, but I regret not reading previous reviews. Many warning of poor and rude service. I then ordered a mixed drink and waited another 15 minutes. The female waitress apologising for the “delay” is the only reason the Kaleido is getting 1 star instead of zero. The view is lovely but after a half hour, and one last “it’s coming” from the male waiter, I walked out. The view was equally lovely from DaViu across the Port and I got my mixed drink in 3 minutes. Pass Kaleido by if you are thirsty.
I read reviews before saying that the Saffron Buffet Restaurant in Atlantis Hotel is good and more suitable for Chinese people, but after visiting the site and comparing breakfast and dinner for two days, I still think this restaurant is better. Both the restaurant environment and the food taste great! There are a wide variety of dishes and cheeses, and the mustard sauce is super delicious! There are a variety of fruits, and the big strawberries are big and fresh!
If you can't afford the underwater restaurant of the Burj Al Arab, check out the kaleidoscope buffet of the Atlantis Hotel located in the center of the Palm Jumeirah. Although it is Indian food that you can't understand, the selling point is the six-star enjoyment and the lost underwater world - there are tens of thousands of fish species and a 25-meter-high aquarium 🐟
