In the buildings opposite the Central Railway Station in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, there is a long corridor-style patio called Cityk&auml;yt&auml;v&auml;ll&auml; (city corridor). There are different shops and restaurants arranged in four circles of the patio, and the restaurant on the second floor in the southeast corner is called Viikinkiravintola Harald (Harald Viking Restaurant).

This is a chain of specialty restaurants in the style of Vikings (Viiking, the Nordic Vikings). The current 8 branches are distributed in 8 larger cities in Finland. This store in Helsinki is not open every day, and sometimes you need to call in advance to reserve a table because every time it opens, it is full of customers.

Compared with other Finnish restaurants, the menu here is richer, the dishes are large and rough, and the tableware is thick and simple. Especially the barbecue, which is skewered with a dagger (dagger), giving people the feeling that they must eat meat and drink wine in big mouthfuls.

The decoration of the restaurant is full of Nordic style, with log tables and chairs, wooden walls, tree branches, and moose heads with horns hanging on the wall. Customers can eat with pirate hats (copper helmets with horns)... Even the beer brewed by the restaurant is Harald (Harald, the Norwegian king in the Viking era).

The biggest problem for Chinese people to travel to Finland is that the food is not delicious. Even in Chinese restaurants, the taste is neither Chinese nor Western. Therefore, people often complain. But this restaurant is very special. Not only is the food delicious (similar to Chinese barbecue), but it also has a strong Nordic flavor.

Eating large pieces of rough barbecue and drinking Viking beer, it feels like being in the Viking era. It feels really worth it...

Several dishes are authentic Chinese stir-fried dishes, and they are also my favorite Zhejiang cuisine. The chef has put a lot of effort into studying Chinese cuisine, which I have to give him five stars for. Also, you can discuss their taste with the waiter before placing an order.
