Akaishi Shokudo

Very far, in the northernmost part of the island. If you go to Hirakubo to see the lighthouse, you will pass by on your way back. This is a very, very local restaurant! A husband-and-wife shop, there is parking space at the door, many locals, and there is a queue at 6 pm. The boss is very enthusiastic. The Yaeyama noodles taste great, the noodles are chewy, the soup base is rich, and the price is super cheap, almost half of the price in the city.

This is probably the most famous noodle shop in Ishigaki Island. Akashi Cafeteria is located in a small village (Akashi Village). From a distance, I saw people crowded in front of my house, queuing up to have a bowl of her pork noodles. Her cartilage pork noodles are amazing, cartilage pork noodles (850 yen per bowl), the pork is stewed very well, and the noodle soup is very rich! The store is not big, but clean and hygienic. The key is that the taste is very good and the price is not expensive. It is a good place to eat when traveling in Ishigaki Island

We loved this restaurant and I will dine here again. The Shaoji noodle soup here is super delicious, the soup is very fragrant and the noodles are very refreshing. The staff of this restaurant are very friendly, helpful and considerate. The price of the restaurant is very affordable.
