Wakana Honten

I came here on a cruise ship and finally had a good meal on my own. I passed by this restaurant and it was pretty good. I usually like teppanyaki and the beef really melts in your mouth. I finally experienced it myself. The sashimi is also very fresh, and the matcha desserts are exquisite and delicious!

Kagoshima's Kuroge pork shabu-shabu, grilled wagyu beef, and fish sashimi are all available. There are several restaurants in Kagoshima, all of which are delicious and mid-range in price. It's easy to find in the shopping street and is recommended by locals.

The environment is good and elegant. The store is not big and inconspicuous, but the interior is good. There are many Japanese people dining there. The pork is a specialty of Kaerdao. The taste is suitable for Chinese people. The service is good! It is not far from the shopping paradise. Tangji can be reached next to it because I live opposite Tangji. Then it takes only 2-3 minutes to walk to Wuai. Cross the traffic light (crosswalk) and turn right to Wuai!

Note that this is not a cheap izakaya. You need to spend around 3000-4000 yen per person! I came to this izakaya by accident. After eating, I read the reviews and found out that it is a historical restaurant! I ordered a famous pork shabushabu. It was super delicious! I must try it when I come to Kagoshima!
