Khaw Glong Thai Restaurant

Khaw Glong is one of the most popular Thai restaurants in Koh Samui. The decoration is not very good, but it is not a food stall. The owner is very enthusiastic. After two days of eating, I still like the lotus leaf chicken the most.

It's so delicious. If you use a credit card, there will be a 3% handling fee. It is recommended to pay in cash. I often like their coconut smoothie. I love it. The fried fish tastes very good too, and the Tom Yum Goong soup is also delicious.

The chicken in lotus leaf is very hot when it comes out of the pot, so don't be impatient. The chicken is crispy and tasty, and it is worthy of being a well-received dish. Coconut smoothie | It can't be compared with the one in the train market. The coconut milk tastes much lighter, but it is refreshing and relieves greasiness.

How should I put it? Maybe it's the off-season now and I didn't make a reservation in advance. It's very close to the hotel I'm staying in. I didn't look for this restaurant specifically. I saw it by accident. The main reason was that I came to try it after reading the reviews saying it was good! After entering her restaurant, the waiter kept promoting their most expensive foot! I didn't like it a little and didn't follow their ideas. Haha, I ordered a few dishes. The taste was okay, but the portion was small. In fact, her dishes were not as delicious as they said, but the presentation would be better! I really didn't feel the service, but I thought it was ridiculous to charge a 10[%] service fee! We were drinking our own drinks and were halfway through the meal. We were told that we had to order their drinks or they would charge us 100 baht. Alas, they were so eager to make money that we had to pay first! I just want to say that I have been on the island for 6 days. The food I ate at other restaurants was also good. There were not so many rules and no service fee, but I can only say that I'm used to this one! I will not patronize it again!

This shop is located in the alley. It is a small restaurant with only five tables. I made an appointment two days before I could eat there. The taste is good. Thai food, the taste is very good, basically every dish is very delicious, and the location is easy to find. Most locals know this shop. Maybe because it is too famous, this shop also charges a service fee.

The dishes tasted generally good. I visited twice. The papaya salad and seafood salad were both good. The Tom Yum Goong soup and coconut seafood soup were both delicious. The price of the red fish was a little expensive, but it was a good choice for dining!
