San Shu Gong

San Shu Gong is a local product & souvenir store located in Jonket Steet, Melaka. This famous store features dessert, Durian Cendol is really delicious! Lots of tourist come here to buy some local products such as Durian dodol, Pineapple tart and Kaya for souvenir.

2 hours bus ride from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca. Uh, the Dutch Red House is just like that, quite disappointing. This San Shugong shop on Malacca's Jonker Street is very big, with a shop in front and a factory in the back. It is located right at the entrance of Jonker Street at the head of Kim Seng Bridge, across the bridge from the Red House Square. It has a wide variety of snacks and the food packaging is both nostalgic and fashionable.

I always thought Sanshugong was an exhibition place, but today I found out that it is a store specializing in Malacca specialties. It is at the entrance of Jonker Street, and the location is quite good. I went in and took a look around. There were many people shopping inside. The packaging of these products was very delicate, but the prices seemed not low. The whole space is not very big. There is a staircase at the entrance to go upstairs, but I didn't go up, so I don't know the details.

A good place to buy souvenirs~ But it closed at 6pm, so I went there early the next morning. Fortunately, I lived in Jonker Street, so it was very convenient to walk there. The service attitude was very good, and there were various tastings. I especially liked the kueh jia jiao, and bought both the durian flavor and the coconut flavor. The shaqi ma was also delicious! The dried Musang King durian seemed to be the most expensive of all the dried durians, and the quantity was also small. Unfortunately, my mother didn’t know how to taste it and said that the taste was average, so angry~ I also bought bak kut teh, 6 packs per box, bought two boxes, and it’s okay to sell them separately~ It’s still very cost-effective to give it to colleagues~ It’s strange that I didn’t find coffee. Fortunately, I bought old town at the supermarket downstairs of Parkson the day before, otherwise I would be embarrassed... You can use UnionPay! And the prices in Malaysian ringgit and RMB are displayed~ Great!

It is mainly a place to buy coffee and snacks. The waiters are very enthusiastic. Maybe Chinese tourists spend more money here, so the waiters take special care of Chinese tourists. There are tastings and explanations of various coffees, drinks, and desserts. You can even buy bak kut teh seasoning packets. I bought some snacks of various kinds to try. It is a very good store.
