Blue Hills Ocean Basket

A 6-meter-high bronze statue of Mandela was presented to the public at Mandela Square, so that the square was later called &quot;Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton City&quot;. The bronze statue was jointly created by Kobus Hattingh and Jacob Maponyane, with a total weight of more than 2.5 tons, a wingspan of 2.3 meters, a shoulder width of 1.7 meters, and a shoe length of 1 meter. The statue was erected in memory of the former President Mandela who created a free and fair Republic of South Africa. Later, Mandela Square became a well-known tourist attraction. Many domestic and foreign tourists came to Mandela Square to learn about the new South Africa, and many tourists also rushed to take photos in front of the bronze statue.
