Le Refuge

The location is not sexy, the facade too but do not hesitate to enter and enjoy their fresh and tasty food, selected dishes proposing simple and good food well executed, small place (around 25 persons inside) visited during one empty week end in Ile de France, recommended for their honesty and passion delivered in the plate!

Great place with tasty food and a very friendly owner/chef, will be back for more.

This place was easy to find, and being one of four restaraunts in town to eat. Unfortunately myself and my wife chose this one. The food was ok and tasty, but tiny portions meant we had to eat lots of bread with our meagre meal to feel like we had eaten.The other diners were friendly locals, but the small french chap who served us did not like english customers!We waited 40 minutes for the bill, and were insulted by the small chap as we had to keep asking for it ! He was more interested in mocking us in front of the regulars, who took a dim view of his behaviour. ShameNext time we will dine at one of the other three places in town!

This restaurant lives up to its name: it's a wonderful refuge, far from the bad guys. Really great raclette with an incomparable machine! Bravo and thank you

A great place, everything is delicious from starter to dessert, and the service is very pleasant. A special mention for the onion soup; it's simply incredibly delicious. We'll happily return.
