Inside of a fortress where the restaurant is hiding but what a found. The place, the food and the attention are fantastic a place we will try again and again.

The restaurant location was divine as well as the dining area. The food was on point: the presentation, the explanations given by our waiter and the taste. The only “bémol” (as the French would say) was that we felt rushed during the service. We would have appreciated the offer of aperitifs at the start (without having to asked for it or being pushed to choose immediately the food and wine). The arrival of mains should have been more spaced from the starters: we were 3 people with different paces of eating and it wouldn’t have harmed to be served slightly later while enjoying the rest of our aperitifs. No critics to the waiter who was lovely and very sympathetic. Despite this, we will for sure come back for another dining experience.

We had the most wonderful meal this evening. The food was superb, the staff friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere - dining in an ancient fort was a unique experience. Highly recommended dining at this restaurant.

The experience of eLeBe starts with the surprise of wandering into a 17th century fort, to a perfectly modernised courtyard, followed by a warm greeting, by name, from the host and staff. The styling of the restuarant is classy, welcoming and tasteful. Staff put you at ease and explain the menu fully. The food is well priced and portions generous. The blending of traditional, fresh, locally sourced food with a modern twist does not disappoint. If you are in Povoa, you must try it out.
