New Taste Restaurant

The seafood was very fresh, the small shrimps were good, the crabs were alive, the bigger the crabs, the better they tasted. There was a vegetable called Sabah vegetable which was very good and tender.

When I came to Malaysia, I thought the seafood restaurant that was worth checking out was very average in terms of environment and service. Don't expect too much. It's just a food stall. But the seafood was very fresh and tasted very good.

Xin Kuawei is near the pier, next to Watsons. It may be a restaurant opened by Cantonese people. It mainly serves seafood and home-cooked dishes. The store is clean and the seafood is fresh. You can also buy seafood and have it processed here. It tastes good and the price is affordable.

We were recommended to eat here by the hotel owner. We ate at Tianwang for lunch on the first day. We didn't eat any seafood and spent more than 50 Malaysian ringgits. The taste was really not good! In the evening, we went to Xinweikou. It was really cost-effective. The three of us had two seafood dishes, noodles, rice, vegetables, and drinks every day, which added up to 50-60 Malaysian ringgits. We were very full and the food tasted very good. The owner can speak Chinese and is a conscientious businessman. It is definitely more cost-effective to eat seafood directly in the store than to buy it yourself and ask the store to process it! We ate here for four days and were very satisfied!

The taste is very good! Two friends have been here before and highly recommended it! I have been eating here for four days! Spicy crab meat/flower crab/grouper are super delicious! The mantis shrimp is really super big, the pepper and salt taste is good, and there is shrimp roe! Just give the butter shrimp a try, my personal taste prefers spicy. In addition, the pepper fried eggplant, water spinach, and emperor seedlings are good! I have to try the seafood fried rice, it's so delicious!

New Flavor has two branches. We originally ate at the one in town. The price is very high. The seafood price is nearly 1/3 cheaper than other restaurants! ! But the taste is not sloppy at all! The boss lady is very friendly and will recommend us to eat local specialties and will recommend them to us according to the portion! Later, we found out that the New Flavor downstairs from our hotel is their branch. The taste is also very good! We stayed at the Tang Dynasty Pearl Hotel which is far away from the town.
