Onihei Shimabara

If you go to Shimabara, it is recommended to go to Himematsuya to try Guzoni~~~Guzoni is a famous local cuisine in Shimabara. Himematsuya, which is opposite Shimabara Castle, happens to be a century-old local restaurant, and Guzoni is very famous. There are many set meals corresponding to Guzoni, and I chose the bamboo set meal of 1,700 yen. After visiting Shimabara Castle, it is just right to replenish energy~ In addition to Guzoni, the set meal also includes sashimi, appetizers, rice and fruits, which are very rich in content. Guzoni is actually a variety of wild vegetables and seafood cooked with glutinous rice dumplings. It is not delicate, but very fresh. The glutinous rice dumplings are more glutinous than those in China, and a little sticky. The appetizers are also refreshing and delicious...including after-meal fruits-oranges are also sweet~~~Satisfied! There is also Unzen natto for sale in the Himematsuya store, which can be tasted. It tastes good, and 430 yen a can is not expensive~~~~You can buy it as a souvenir!
