If you go to Shimabara, it is recommended to go to Himematsuya to try Guzoni~~~Guzoni is a famous local cuisine in Shimabara. Himematsuya, which is opposite Shimabara Castle, happens to be a century-old local restaurant, and Guzoni is very famous. There are many set meals corresponding to Guzoni, and I chose the bamboo set meal of 1,700 yen. After visiting Shimabara Castle, it is just right to replenish energy~ In addition to Guzoni, the set meal also includes sashimi, appetizers, rice and fruits, which are very rich in content. Guzoni is actually a variety of wild vegetables and seafood cooked with glutinous rice dumplings. It is not delicate, but very fresh. The Jimatsuya opposite the original city is just a local century-old shop, and the miscellaneous cooking is very famous.
