Voor vrijdag 12-5-2023 gereserveerd bij dit restaurant in Kaatsheuvel. Vantevoren werd ik gebeld met de mededeling dat er een kermis was op het plein voor het restaurant. Dus het terras was niet mogelijk en de kans was aanwezig dat er meer heen en weer gelopen zou worden door klanten. Heel netjes natuurlijk om dat van tevoren te melden. Lekker binnen gezeten en voor de rest nergens last van gehad. Het restaurant is gezellig aangekleed en met name het doorkijk-glas naar de keuken toe is erg leuk. Het eten was bijzonder goed. Als vooraf de carpaccio, die, met name door onze zoon van 11, zeer gewaardeerd werd! De mixed grill was prima. Kip om te zuigen, en spareribs die je zelfs zonder vingers te gebruiken kon opeten. Toetjes prima!Al met al een zeer leuke ervaring (gezellig, behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel) met een uitstekende keuken!

We were here for the second time being food and the food was great. Guestliness was extraordinary. The choice was a 5-gangen menu from the chef.With a fun the beginning was well deployed. As a privileged dish, then served pecked doradefilet, potato salad, peanut and beet and sweet vegetables.As the second dish, there was pastinate soup with smoked pearl, caviar with special taste and gross mustard.As intermediate housed Ravioli packed with Dutch garlic and gamba with a crevette sauce smelting on the tongue.As main food softly cut bovine sukade of Landgoed Palmesteyn with a sauce on roast baked vegetables and fresh fries with own made mayonnaise.. The after-food was a Tatin Tatin with cream angelaise, which was pre-dessert, a nice closet of the evening.

The food was great ; serving was nice with a lot of humor! The time between the first and the next serving moments takes too long. Especially for a 96 year old lady.

This is the best thing we have had to discover in low countries. The atmosphere, the food, the appropriate wines. All top!
