Uji Matcha Old Shop's Beautiful Ice Cream🍦 When you go to Uji, the Matcha Capital, you must buy a beautiful Matcha ice cream. It's rare to see a beautiful and delicious one. And it's not sweet, very friendly. 🍓Strawberry Ice Cream Strawberry + Raspberry + Matcha + Chocolate, sour and sweet, really delicious😋 🍵Matcha Ice Cream The Matcha flavor is also good, but I still prefer the strawberry flavor
I went to the main store of Ito Kyuumonei. It is not as famous as Nakamura Tokichi, but it looks good. I bought a limited edition matcha almond milk jelly, which is delicious. In addition to simple meals, the store also has various matcha desserts. I will come again next time.
[Taste] Famous for making matcha desserts. I ordered matcha and matcha ice cream. The ice cream is very refreshing, the sweetness of the cream neutralizes the bitterness of the matcha, and the lightness of the matcha reduces the greasiness of the cream. There are also red bean paste, coconut fruit and chewy matcha konjac, which are recommended. Although the matcha is very fragrant, it is really bitter. The daifuku is just average. [Environment] The store is very large and is divided into a dining area and a gift area. After consuming in the store, you will be given some vouchers to buy homemade products, tea, tea cakes and seasonal flower snacks. In particular, the dining area of the store has a window with a view, and the new green outside is rustling [Service] We went early, and there were not many customers in the store. The waiter also spoke softly, and there was no sales promotion when we were choosing souvenirs in the gift area.
Ito's matcha has always been famous in China. When I came to Uji, I specially tried the local matcha. The taste is very different. The matcha here is not as sweet as outside, and there are so many matcha products here that I can't stop buying.
This main store of Ito is near the Uji Station of Keihan Railway. It was almost closed when we went there. It might also be because we had just eaten at another old-fashioned store in Nakamura, so the facade of this store is more modern and the food didn’t taste as good as the other one.
