Afternoon of December 5th. Chokdee Coffee on King Faang Street in Vientiane, Laos. Stopping for a snack. Charging my phone. This is a coffee with the theme of The Adventures of Tintin. There are many Tintin cartoon characters in the shop. ​

A very fun and cozy spot. The staff is friendly and inviting. The beer and spirits selection is vast. An old school western style bar in the far east. You should drink here.

A strange place to find in Laos, but worth trying out if you love Belgian beers. They don&apos;t have all the beers advertised on the extremely extensive menu,but they are served at the right temperature,by very friendly, competent staff. We tried 4 main dishes over 2 days and everything was freshly cooked and tasty. It&apos;s obviously more expensive than Lao beers but they are not over charging. Very layed back atmosphere. A lovely change from noodles!

A delicious surprise in Lao!

Great selection of imported beers, very friendly staff, perfect place to start your night. I&apos;ve been here a couple of times now, and will continue to do so.

Great beer selection, wine by the glass was nice, staff lovely. We sat outside near the night market - can’t  play cards with the kids?! They didn’t know why - just ‘boss said’… cheque please!

Buzz Killington!

Great range of beer here. So what did I choose? BeerLao, what more could a man ask for? Huge range of beers. Fabulous place to whet the appetite. Complementary nuts and we purchased some of their excellent chips with Tom sauce & mayonnaise. We sat outside in the cool Lao evening. If you are in Vientiane and your looking for a beer, spirit or aperitif then this is the place to go. Menu looked interesting.

It is so great!Just a little hiccups, be careful with the meat when you come a bit late. The manager quickly changed the dish and apologized but it shouldn&rsquo;t happen you guys. I recommend and I will come back for more beerrsss ! Haha

This is one of the better restaurants in Vientiane, it is hard to find a better one.

偶尔路过的，就进去坐了一会，吃了一点东西，不多。

Occasionally, people passing by would go in and sit for a while and eat a little, but not much.

这边的环境真的很不错，吃了很多菜，还可以。

Dinner at KHOP CHAI DEU. It means &quot;thank you&quot; in Chinese. It is a combination of traditional and western food. No.1 of Local Restaurants in Vientiane

Food and entertainment you&#39;&#39;ll never forgetA local driver suggested this restaurant and we invited him to join us. We were thrilled by the dancers who performed a few times to Lao music that was played on acoustic instruments. We had the traditional lab and everything that was recommended by the waiter. The place is huge and a large group was present having a good time. The only surprise was that the restaurant closed earlier than we New Yorkers expected.

Very good food for the price. Steaks start at 210k KIP, plus 35k KIP. But the quality is very high for the price, or more accurately it feels like the steak house you are used to back home. The service is very good and attentive. Your water glass is automatically refilled, there are appropriate art tableware, and a nice atmosphere with good music. We didn&#39;t return as we were on a budget, but this was definitely a highlight of our trip.

I really like the decoration style of joma bakery cafe. I once thought of decorating my own shop in the loft style. Unfortunately, the walls of the shop were painted and wallpapered by the previous tenants. It would cost a lot to expose the original color of concrete, so I had to give up. The fruit pie is very delicious. Especially fresh! I ordered the salad pie, so delicious that I want to go back to eat it again! The bread is very fresh and soft, the salad tastes very delicious, and the sauce inside is delicious. The service is very fast and good. The restaurant is not the cheapest in Vientiane, 38,000 yuan of pie with chips, 15,000 yuan of sand ice, but not too expensive. Definitely worth a visit.
