Introduction: Wakayama Castle was built in 1585 by Toyotomi Hideyoshi&#39;s brother Toyotomi Hidenaga. In 1619, Tokugawa Ieyasu&#39;s son Tokugawa Yorifusa became the lord of the castle. As the residence of the &quot;Kishu Tokugawa Family&quot;, one of the three Tokugawa families, it has gone through 250 years of history. In 1935, 11 buildings including the castle tower, corner tower, and Nanmen were designated as national treasures, but all 11 buildings were burned down due to war. The castle tower was rebuilt in 1958 after the war, showing its former majesty. Various exhibits related to the Tokugawa family are exhibited inside the castle tower, and you can have a panoramic view of Kikawa and Wakayama city from the high-rise observation deck. In addition, there is also a national designated scenic spot &quot;Red Leaf Creek Garden&quot; in the city, where you can enjoy elegant scenery.

1. Children can go up to the castle tower for free every Saturday

3. Wakayama Castle can be walked through in about two hours. Except for the castle tower, which requires a ticket, everything else is free. There is also a small zoo inside (free, closed on Tuesdays, and the zoo director is a bear)

This is a curry stand.
This is a long-established curry restaurant in Wakayama.
There used to be a store in Burakuri-cho, which is no longer there, but I used to go there to eat curry after watching a movie at the cinema.
The store in front of the Red Cross is located at the site of the glass shop next to Matsubara Tire.
The curry menu and taste have not changed, and it is a little spicy but delicious. Another good thing is that they have been offering a service where you can add various toppings since before CoCo Ichibanya was built.
This is a store you&#39;ll want to go to when you feel like eating curry.
