A small boutique hotel run by a husband and wife team who will be very careful to provide you with the best service. They interact with you anytime, anywhere. The rooms are traditional style with lots of nice extra decor. Staff provide mosquito spraying for your room every night, nothing more useful than this. We only dine in the hotel as there is no other place for tourists locally as the hygeine standard outside the hotel is very low. The hotel is clean, the restaurant and garden have hand washing facilities if you choose to eat outside. The view of the Irrawaddy is beautiful, especially the sunset. The owners are currently sorting out the boat so they can dine on the boat and expand their business, which I believe is worth it for them. We have the best room in the hotel, the river upstairs at the end of the balcony is nearest. There are no complaints there. The food was great, the service was great, and the staff even got up early on the day we started (m. 5.00) to make sure we had breakfast. Highly recommend the food or accommodation. We would consider returning as it was so good, but would say the only thing we were missing was a pool (but small).
