Borgo Salino

Wonderful food and service. Fantastic indoor space - I did not give it 10:10 on ambience only because the indoor room was too hot.I cannot wait to eat again at this restaurant which, in my opinion, is one of the best between Ostia and Fiumicino.

We wanted a local well rated restaurant to celebrate our 56th anniversary and our granddaughter's 17th birthday. We had come off a Greek island cruise and would fly out the next morning. The staff was helpful with the menu choices. The fish dishes were local catches and delicious. My granddaughter and I picked a dessert that was a huge plate of fresh fruit AND several flavors of gelato that were encased in fruit and nut shells. Good finish for a memorable night in Rome!

Excellent seafood. First course was Insalata di Mare and Mussels and both were very generous portions and delicious. The salad was so fresh, had a great assortment of seafood and also was presented beautifully. For our second course we chose the grilled calamari and the grilled octopus. Again, both superb. Highly recommend Borgo Salino!
