The Bel-Air

I went there on my birthday. It was really a lot of surprises. The waiter was super caring and felt a pleasant birthday. The location of the restaurant is right next to the highway, so it is very easy to find and parking is convenient. In short, it is very pleasant to eat here.

生日的时候去的，真的是惊喜多多，服务员超级贴心，感觉过了一个愉快的生日。餐厅的位置就在高速公路旁，所以十分好找，而且停车方便。总之，在这用餐很愉快。

餐厅里所有的食物都小而精致，但拍出来就没有那种感觉，拍照技术有限。喜欢水果拼盘，水果品种多样，很喜欢多种水果混吃。

All the food in the restaurant is small and exquisite, but there is no feeling when you take pictures, and the photo technology is limited. I like fruit platters, fruit varieties are diverse, and I like a variety of fruits to eat.

Love the atmosphere - like a cozy wood-paneled cabin - where you can hear yourself talk and relax with friends and food as fine and well-prepared as will find in LA - yet casual and unpretentious environment. No better spot for catching up with friends or bringing out of town guests. Forgot how much we love it. Also no tipping - they have switched to all-inclusive prices. Not cheap but you truly get what you pay for here!

This used to be a dark and quiet place with so-so food that I only went to when I was near the Getty and now it&#39;s a bright, fun, relaxed delicious destination restaurant. Warm staff - NO TIPPING ALLOWED - and seasonal California food. Great if you&#39;re going or coming from the Getty but also great if you&#39;re meeting people on either side of the 405. Fun bar scene too.

Lovely quiet hideaway. Nothing on the menu disappointed - but I&#39;d especially recommend the tuna tartare. It was completely different from any tuna tartare I&#39;d ever had, and maximally delicious. No tipping is correct, but I slipped our waitress some money anyway because she was extraordinarily good. Parking is an odd amount - $6.50 - which pretty much guarantees you&#39;ll spend the extra 50 cents and not wait for change. That may have a good reason, but I&#39;m not sure what it is. I&#39;d be interested if anyone knows. Perfect if you&#39;re in the neighborhood, and I&#39;d highly recommend it.

I am so sad, I used to love going to eat here when it was the BEL AIR BAR AND GRILL. Now, new name, new chef and I am NOT going back. Our waiter was helpful and so polite, but the menu choices are way too complicated and my salmon was tasteless and dry and the &quot;french fries&quot; (more like wedges) were too salty. And to make it worse, the Chef doesn&#39;t pay attention to instructions or else, he doesn&#39;t know what PLAIN means. Avoid this place.
