This is our &quot;go to&quot; restaurant when we are in Rouen. We had not visited since before Covid so we were delighted to find that the quality of the dishes and attention to detail and presentation had been maintained. The staff are very welcoming and there is a pleasant  interaction between customers and staff. A strong french influence to the dishes, often with a surprise twist. A great dining experience.

The staff gave you the feeling not being welcomed. No attention at all. After having placed the order we had to wait half an hour to get our drinks. Starter and main course served at the same time. Of course, there were nothing wrong with the oysters, the main course became cold and was tasteless. There are better alternatives in the city

We enjoyed a very good evening with good french food fx Foie gras terrine with onioncompot, Maldon seasalt and briochebread. Then followed by beef entrecotes and juicy duck breast with the best crisp duckskin. I actually never had more delicious and tender duckbreast - the taste, the seasoning and roasting was superb. The sauce with the morelles could have been more round and seasonned in my opinion. And not served in a small bowl in the size of an egg-cup,-). An is there a reason for - why do you not make a REAL SAUCE BEARNAISE TO ORDER - to go with your beef steaks..? The real sauces from french gastronomy - like sauce bearnaise, hollandaise, bordelaise and so on - should be on many/all A la Carte servings in my opinion. My foie gras terrine had unfortunantly a piece of plastic in it - and that is a unfortunantly mishappen. But if it had been in Denmark - the amount of one of the foie gras had been taken out. Plastic is kind of dangerous in food. Or you should as a minimum served us 2 cups og coffee as a small opologize. But we only got a &ldquo;Sorry&rdquo;. That is not right customer/guest treatment. But with that said - our waited (a young guy with.a great smile) - was quick and serviceminded. He understood, that we talk a bit og french/a lot og english - but we understand MOST french and would order and read the menus in french. Thank you for understanding ud! We did the 6 course tasting menu, the food and wine was wonderful, and the staff surprised us with sparklers and champagne with desert as we are getting married this week! The only negative was service was quite slow, and we were often sat without a drink or food, but I suppose that&rsquo;s the relaxed french attitude!

We had a very good food, the cocktails were delicious.However, the places lack a little cleanness I find ... &quot;crudes&quot; of mosquitoes a little everywhere on the walls ... mosquitoes a little everywhere flying at meals .. The hotel is a very good hotel.

Best food in Rouen. Staff was excellent always ready with the next course and always checking to make sure the customer was enjoying the food. The ambiance was incredible especially the entry in which a plethora photos of the rich and famous who have dined at the restaurant over the years. Truly the &ldquo;crown&rdquo; belongs to this fabulous restaurant.

Authentic and very tasty local cuisine, highly recommend the wild boar stew. Excellent house wine, good value - both red and white.  Very friendly,  smiley and quick / efficient service. The history of the place is all evident in the decor and the ambience.  The only suggestion would be for more regional variety in the dessert menu. Still, highly recommended, would love to be back.

In the heart of the old district of Rouen , a true gem of a restaurant. Excellent food, very creative and nicely presented. Cocktails are very good too. Cosy atmosphere, very nice and friendly service. I can only recommend the place. A must in the town! Enjoy

This place must have been good when it kicked-off, and the food is pretty good, but it has the too-familiar feel these days of a place that is resting on its laurels&hellip;..sadly

Great theatre!!  These guys to slightly querky  meals - eg entrec&ocirc;te served under a dome with smoking grass - type material. Great fun!  Desert was similarly bonkers. Setting on the corner of the main square was ideal. Highly recommended!

Good food and an original way of serving itNice historica building in the old market in front of the modern church of St. Joanne of Arc and not to far ftom the fameus Chathedral.
