Located in Nanguo Taoyuan, China is sanctuary known as The Heron Bird Paradise. It can be seen by entering from the west gate of Nanguo Taoyuan. The Heron Bird Paradise features green bamboo trees, a small and winding lake, a crooked bridge, and the sound of many birds, creating a relaxing and happy environment for visitors to enjoy. In the autumn of 1994, the Jiujiang swiftlet's heron bird left their natural habitat as it was no longer suitable for their survival. It is not known exactly where they have resettled but they continue to fly to The Heron Bird Paradise for refuge, making it a wonderful place to observe them.
