淼淼0301This should be the largest museum in South Africa. Coming here gives me a different feeling. This museum is very admirable both in terms of size and number of collections. There are many cultural relics in it. I like it very much. Here.
137***66This is a museum and requires multiple visits. We went to see a lot of things and learned a lot. Definitely need to go back and pick the floor and slowly walk through the floor. Interesting exhibitions are necessary to supplement the current K-12 American history curriculum.
137***66[Scenery] Everything the garden does is extraordinary. One of my favorite places in St. Louis.
[Fun] In spring, you must see the cherry blossoms and Bradford pear trees in full bloom in the Japanese garden.
137***66The shopping area is great and traffic jams, so you can wander around the streets and shops at will. These stores are very unique, and the products and prices are high. The restaurant is also a good idea, especially if you plan to spend the whole day. I always recommend Berretts as the main course to taste delicious seafood in restaurants.
137***66The museum has a large collection of items related to the Boer War. There are many big paintings, and when you consider that there are also women and children there, one of the Boers nailed to the banks of the Maud River under the attack of the British is very touching. Of course, this led to General Krone’s surrender at the Battle of Paderberg. Prisoners of war captured in overseas camps have a large number of handicrafts, including St. Helena, Ceylon, India and Bermuda, as well as handicrafts made in camps in South Africa. The Women’s Monument depicts two women, one of whom is holding a baby. This is very unforgettable because the ashes of the British woman Emily Hobhouse were buried there. She helped people who suffered in the war A lot of work has been done. Recently, a long wall was added with the names of women and children who were burned to death in concentration camps during the British Scorched Earth Policy. At that time, the farm was burned down and the women and children were placed in the concentration camps. There was almost no fresh water or medical care. It was unforgettable! Of course, this does not represent the "best period" of British history!
137***66I have to admit: my experience in art museums is not very extensive. Okay, so it didn't exist before, except for being with a friend who dragged me to this place, I didn't have much expectations for this trip. :>But...her instinct is right. Barnes is an art gallery where even an "ordinary person" can get a lot in a few hours of wandering. The layout and display made things much more interesting than I thought. It made me feel that not only did I have a good time, but that what I learned in that afternoon was more semester than what I learned in the entire two universities Art class! I can't compare with others, but it's hard to imagine any place better than Barnes!

Golden gate national park
It is located in Free state at the Lesotho boarder. The park's most notable features are its golden, ochre, and orange-hued, deeply eroded sandstone cliffs and outcrops, especially the Brandwag rock. Another feature of the area is the numerous caves and shelters displaying San rock paintings and wildlife. Amazing to see the ochre/golden yellow rocky outcrops. Well worth it to spend a few days in the vicinity of Golden Gate ;) Plenty of walking trips and lots of nature and view- points to enjoy. There are also baboons and monkeys
If you want to relax, walk in the garden this is the place for you, the entrance fee is quite affordable, and you get to braai as there are braai facilities. There is also a restaurant inside which serves real good food. It is excellent for any outing, whether its Christmas parties, birthday parties, couple's outing, friend's outing. They do host events as well such as weddings, gala dinner etc. in their venue (hall or lapa).
The permanent art exhibition on its own is worth the visit, but always interesting other exhibitions. The sculpture garden offer peaceful surrounding to relax with friends and family. Short hikes available and just lots of interesting aspects to explore.
