Kandy Lake

Kanti is Sri Lanka's second largest city, a Buddhist holy place. Kanti Lake is in the center of the city. It is a huge artificial lake dug by a rice field and is also one of the city's most famous tourist attractions. The scenery on Kanti Lake is beautiful, and there is a small island in the center, which is said to be the place where the Queen lived. The lakeside tropical flowers and trees are lush, blooming, all purple and red. Next to a lake-ring road is the Buddha Tooth Temple of Sri Lanka's national treasure temple. Kandy Lake reflects the Buddha Tooth Temple, and the Buddha Tooth Temple is dotted with Kandy Lake. The two are intersected and perfectly harmonious, forming the most beautiful scenery of Kandy Ancient City. In the distance, there are many English buildings dotted between the mountains and forests, and tourists and local residents from all over the world take a walk along the lake and enjoy the beautiful lakes and mountains.

The ancient city of Kandy surrounded by mountains, there are lakes in the city, there are islands in the lake, and the scenery is infinite. The artificial lake-Kanty Lake, which was excavated in 1807, was originally a regular rectangle. With the changes in ecology and water system, the old appearance is vaguely visible on the east side today, and the west side is already a gentle lake shore. The rippling Kandy Lake is like a jade embedded in the ancient city, in the north bank of the city, the famous Buddha Tooth Temple and the Queen Hotel are adjacent; on the Qinghui Lake, a few big trees on the square island are directly inserted into the sky; On the south bank of the mountainside, the simple and elegant hotel villas are in one after another... Walking on the lakeside, the shaded trails stretched out along the lotus petal-like lake fence to the distance, the flocks of crows accompanied by the cheerful water birds fly freely, and the idle tourists come and go with the hasty pedestrians...Romantic market, romantic market.

We enjoyed our walk by the lake, enjoyed the natural beauty, saw a wealth of wildlife, a variety of birds, some lizards over a meter in length, and some wild peacocks and other birds. I don't know why, the white railings by the lake are wrapped in plastic cloth, and later it may be because there is too much bird shit. It was just 17 p.m. next to Kanti when we arrived. The sunset was shining on Kanti Lake. It was beautiful as a picture scroll. The whole city was full of foreign atmosphere and exquisite. Around the main road of Kangti Lake, all kinds of flowers and plants blossom in full bloom, purple and red. Tropical flowers and plants grow on the lakeside, lush trees grow on the lakeside. On the right side of the lake, the mountains are basically high-grade hotels. On the left side of the lake, the Buddha's Temple and the World Heritage Hotel (Queen's Hotel) contrast each other, making Kangti the most ancient city of Fohai culture. With the green plunder all attention, swans ripple water waves, waterfowl frightened calm, but also unable to stop tourists walking along the lake. There is a kind of indescribable fondness for Kanti, and for me and Sri Lanka as a whole, Kanti is my favorite.
