Since the founder of the True Sound Phonograph Edison Museum, Sun Chengmu, started from the Columbia phonograph G241, which was inherited from his late father, despite the difficulties, he has traveled around the world in more than 60 countries and collected more than 5,000 phonographs and speakers, radios and TVs, as well as the inventor of Edison, the king inventions, etc. Edison is the idol in the fate of the curator Sun Chengmu. Two people who have experienced similar growth stages with innate persistence and indomitable will, one became the king of invention who left a great legacy to mankind, and the other became the world's collector. The True Sound Phonograph Museum displays more than 2,500 exhibits including speakers, phonographs, radios, and televisions, and has a 495-square-meter dedicated music listening room where you can enjoy everything from analog music in the phonograph era to modern DVD digital music. The Edison Science Museum displays three representative inventions of Edison's more than 3,500 inventions, including more than 2,000 Edison inventions and relics including the phonograph, light bulb and projector. In addition, the outdoor car exhibition hall also displays Edison trams, Ford cars made in the 1920s, and phonograph propaganda cars, etc., which cannot be displayed due to lack of space. There are also more than 3,500 collectibles temporarily stored in the collection library. Show to the audience, these collections are arranged in rotation 3-4 times a year. The True Sound Phonograph Museum covers an area of 13,220 square meters. According to the different exhibits, it is divided into four separate exhibition halls and a music appreciation room with an area of more than 330 square meters.
