Alexandra Bridge Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Alexandra Bridge - Interprovincial Bridge
Alexandra Bridge was built in 1898-1900 by the Dominion Bridge Company. I was walking along the Children's Museum/ National Museum of History in Gatineau and I wanted to go back to where I started walking near the Parliament. I actually ended up in the National Gallery of Canada. The bridge has a space for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists. It is a very important structure because there is an angle where you can see the back portion of the Parliament.

Canadian Museum of History Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Canadian Museum of History Impression
National Museum of History has a very delicate exhibition. Although the history of the country is not long, the history of human habitation can be traced back to ten thousand years ago. The exhibits showcase all aspects of 🇨🇦. For example, the early indigenous people here had a saying about the crops they planted, called the Three Sisters, which were 🌽, beans, and squash, all grown together in the same plot of land. The corn stalks could support the beans, which in turn could produce nitrogen fertilizer for the soil, and the large leaves of the squash could shade the ground and retain moisture, truly a crystallization of the wisdom of long-term farming.
As an immigrant country, Canada's respect for the cultural heritage of indigenous peoples in history museums has become the most important content of the entire museum. The works created by indigenous artists on the Pacific coast of Haida Gwaii Island embody the spirit of diversity and solidarity among Canadians. 🇨🇦
The origin and development of North American culture is also the main content of the exhibition hall. Here, classic literary works and representative film and animation works from various eras are displayed. People of different generations can find memories of their childhood here.
