Long Shan Tang Qiu Company is an ancestral temple rich in artistic value in Penang. Qiu Company was established in 1835 by members of the Qiu family who moved from Fujian Province, China. Completed at the end of the 19th century, it suffered a fire shortly after. The current building was rebuilt in 1906 and remodeled in the 1950s. The company is the Chinese guild hall, which generally consists of two parts: a monastery and a meeting place. The carving art inside and outside the Longshan Tangqiu Company is all from the hands of famous Chinese masters. It is a place not to be missed by those who love Chinese culture and art.
