Burleigh Heads Beach is a 2-kilometre stretch of sand running north from Burleigh Head National Park. It is one of the Gold Coast’s famous beaches, popular with surfers and swimmers. Set between Surfers Paradise to the north and Coolangatta to the south, Burleigh is a great place to pause and relax as you travel along the Gold Coast. The natural features in the waters around Burleigh Heads Beach means it often remains calm and protected while other Gold Coast beaches can experience choppier waters. Inland from the beach you will find a great cafe culture and a flourishing culinary scene.
