Located on the northern side of Point Danger, Snapper Rocks is a small seaside jutting into Rainbow Bay. The area is well known amongst the surfing community, whose members flock here from around the world for the excellent big-wave breaks extending from Snapper Rocks along Kirra Beach. In addition to the excellent surf, visitors can enjoy the picturesque views from Snapper Rocks and nearby Point Danger. There are walking paths through Apex Park linking to the Walk of Remembrance. Altogether this is a very scenic area and well worth a visit on your next trip to Gold Coast.
