Tibet's first and only natural scenic country 5A-level tourist scenic spot - Ba Songcuo, Ba Songcuo is also known as the high lake, meaning "green water" in Tibetan, about 18 kilometers long The lake covers an area of about 27 square kilometers, with a depth of 120 meters and an altitude of 3,480 meters. Located in the high gorge deep valley of the upper reaches of Bahe, about 36 kilometers away from Bahe Town, Gongbu County, it is a famous Shenhu and holy land of Hongjiao. Ba Songcuo was awarded the National Scenic Area in 1994 and was included in the World Tourism Area by the World Tourism Organization. In 2000, it was rated as the first national 4A level scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration.
