Told It was Broken
Two female staff sitting huddled over an electric fire told me the Camera Obscura was broken. How long, I said... last week, I was told. I asked to see it and received a one word answer... No. ...
The museum was closed when I visited, unfortuately, so I couldn't go and see the old camera obscura, one of the worlds' oldest. An interesting old building to observe from the outside, however.
Unfortunately, this museum is closed for renovation and has been for some time. Not quite sure when it will re-open. So sadly, childhood memories of visiting the camera obscura and learning more about...
an interesting place to visit the very old way of life...the house filled with antiques... a tiger skin carpet in the lounge, the oldest of furniture, bicycles, clothing, science equipment, everythin...

A most interesting and worthwhile visit. A fabulous piece of history. I would definitely recommend a visit.
