Photos of Xiputuo Temple

Guiyang Xiputuo Temple, formerly known as Baiyun Temple, was built before the sixth year of Kangxi (1667 AD) and has a history of more than 300 years. It is 19797.88 square meters and is magnificent. The temple fully embodies the art of gardening and Buddhist culture and architecture. The temple complex faces south from the north, with squares and arches in front, and sculptured statues on natural stone walls built on the back of the green mountains and waters. The main buildings on the central axis include the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Hall of Great Compassion, and the Hall of Daxiong. , Tibetan Sutra Building, Reclining Buddha Hall, etc. The thirty-two Avalokitesvara statues carved from mahogany in the Guanyin Hall are even more amazing for the elegance and sophistication of the temple.
