About Haimen: Haimen is situated on the coast in the southeast of Jiangsu province. It is rich in natural resources and has a booming economy. Popular attractions include Jianghai Garden on the banks of the Yangtze River estuary, Dongzao Fishing Port and long stretches of yellow sandy beaches. Other destinations include Liyashan Island (famous for its oysters), the Ming dynasty Faguan Temple, and a memorial to the statesman and modernizer Zhang Jian designed in a traditional southern Chinese style.
