Lingyin Temple is located in the northwest of West Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. It has a history of more than 1,600 years and is the earliest famous temple in Hangzhou. At that time, the Indian monk Hui Li came to Hangzhou and saw the mountain peaks and beautiful scenery. He thought that it was "the hidden spirit of the souls retreat", so he built a temple here and named it "Ling Yin".
The main buildings in the temple are the Tianwang Hall and the Daxiong Hall. The statue of Maitreya at the entrance to the Heavenly King Hall, the statue of the god of the gods behind the Maitreya Buddha is the work of the Southern Song Dynasty. The Daxiong Hall is 33.6 meters high and is one of the best preserved single-storey temple buildings in China. In the middle of the hall, there is a statue of gold. The statue is carved with fragrant wood, which is fine and solemn. On both sides of the main hall, there are two images of "Twenty Heavens" and "Twelve Circles". They are different in appearance and very lifelike.
Behind the temple, there are three-dimensional sculptures of the island, with more than 150 relics. When Lingyin Temple is covered with snow in winter, it is very serene and beautiful. Lamei with icicles reminds me of candied fruit. Before entering Lingyin Temple, you must first buy tickets for Feilaifeng. You can't bring your own incense when you go in. You will be offered three free incense when you enter the park.
Enjoy a day of cleanliness, come to China's most beautiful temples to explore
Lingyin Temple Scenic Area is not far from the city center, but it is extraordinarily clean and peaceful, here is the Feilai Peak on the green hill, there is a big Buddha on the cave, there is green water Koi, and the only remaining tower in Hangzhou. Of course, the most famous is still away from the dusty hidden temple.
Even in the summer, you can feel a cool, and there is a vagueness, the blessing of the gods.
Through the Lingyin Temple, follow the signs and you will easily find this Yongfu Temple, which is known as the most beautiful temple in China. In the evening after the rain, the air is damp and the green is like ink.
Occasionally, the monks who walked through, wearing yellow robes, are as cool as the walls of the temple, making people feel warm.
Fortunately, the statues and stone lions along the way are all different in shape and interesting. When I came here, people seemed to be afraid of disturbing the gods even when they talked, and the heart was calm.
The color is too late. At this moment, I only feel that "a thought is put down, and everything is comfortable."

The park is decided in two parts. First you can walk through the scenic area and see many buddhas in the mountains. Go up the mountain to enjoy a good view and a holy stone.
Secondly you can visit the temple itself. It’s really impressive🤗
