Wumenqiao Residential District

Seeing Wumen Bridge can be said to be purely accidental~ I visited the innermost water and land gate in Panmen Scenic Area. After climbing to the top, I accidentally found this reconstruction after nearly 150 years of history, but it still looks like the new Wumen Bridge. It is said that it is still the largest single-hole stone bridge in Suzhou today, and it is very high to overlook from the land and water gate. The current side of Wumen Bridge is the old city of Suzhou. Due to the height limit, standing on Wumen Bridge can have a good view of the old town. On the other side is Suzhou New Town, with many high-rise buildings and another style. The most fun thing is that when I was watching the scenery on the water and land gate that day, I found that there was a place similar to the square on the edge of Wumen Bridge. There were people digging wild vegetables and fishing on the side. It felt very comfortable~

Wumen Bridge is connected to Shuiguan Bridge. Standing on the bridge, you can watch the Water Gate and the city building. Many tourists stand on the bridge and enjoy this unique landscape. There are cruise ships on the moat, there are many bridges, there are tributaries under the Water Gate, and the estuary is under the Wumen Bridge. To Panmen Scenic Area, you must step on Wumen Bridge to see the scenery of the water town, and look at the land and water gate from below, which is very interesting.
