The great leader of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh’s life has become a legend. Most of the tourists who come to Hanoi visit the former residence of Ho Chi Minh. The former residence of Ho Chi Minh is located in the presidential palace of Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi. You will see that the French-style building sits in the middle of the lawn when you look at it from afar. I had always assumed that the single-family villa was decorated with grandeur and furnished beautifully, but the reality is different from what I had imagined.  The former residence of Ho Chi Minh consists of the former French Government House and the Hanging House. A large number of expensive and beautiful mahogany and huanghuali woods are planted in front of and behind the house. The green rattan promenade has become a beautiful view in the former residence. The French-style detached villas built by the Germans seem to be out of date today. The golden walls and the green trees complement each other. Walking on the asphalt roads, you can hear the birds singing, and feel the breeze blowing. In this century the old courtyard looks quiet and serene.
