What people are saying:

I came here to travel after seeing it on the travel tips. Overall, it is very disappointing. I am looking forward to seeing a historical museum about the B-52 in northern Vietnam, but what I got is a war in Vietnam from the early history of Vietnam, to the French occupation, then to the war in the United States, and about the B-52 A small part of the bombing of Hanoi. In front of the museum, they have the wreckage of a B-52, but that's just a little bit about it. Entry to the museum is free, but luckily I stayed for 10 to 15 minutes. We hired a private city tour guide, which is really good, because the road to this museum is not easy. There are B52 bombers full of bullet holes. The museum displays the personal belongings of confiscated American soldiers. There are only a few of us in the museum. No field fee.

    Colossal waste of time

I gave it a “2” simply because there was some organization to the “museum” or reasonable facsimile thereof. It does have a B52 - in pieces - shot down during the war. There is no one around to explain...

    Interesting small museum

There's not that much of interest here apart from the reconstructed B52. It's impressive how huge these planes are, and how intimidating they must have been to Vietnamese civilians. Not too much to se...

Worth a Visit EVEN While Under Renovation

Yes, this museum is currently being renovated. There was no one around to ask when it will reopen. However, I'm still saying that this is a "very good" attraction because visitors still have free acce...

    Museum closed for renovation

I was brought here by a chap who stopped his motor bike for me and offered to take me around some of the main tourist sights. I went to go into the museum but it was clearly in the state of renovation...
