Hanoi Flagtower

The tower was built in 1812 as an observation post. Unlike many other buildings in Hanoi, it was not destroyed during the French invasion (1896-1897), but has been used as a military base. It is now located at the Vietnam Military History Museum. Since the stairs are steep, climbing up the tower can be difficult, so be careful when going up and down the tower. Once you climb up the tower, you can have a bird's eye view of the Military History Museum. Worth a visit when you visit the Vietnam Military History Museum. You can come to this military museum to see, this building tower is located in an impressive place, the tower itself is not that high, it has a flagpole and flag on the top, it is worth a look if you want to visit the museum but not recommend to all.

An integral part of Hanoi's ancient city wall, this high tower is also a place with a very wide view, can see the seat is a place for military observation, you need to buy tickets to visit the military museum.

The flagpole is OK. It's in the Military History Museum. The day I went was Friday, and the indoor exhibition hall was not open! The flagpole is surrounded by some US military equipment for Vietnam War. It's OK. It's closed from 11:30 to 13:00 at noon.

The flag tower itself is interesting to climb and has a curious history, however it is within the confines of the military museum, so you can only access it directly by entering the museum. Otherwise you can view it from the street.

Hanoi Flag Tower is a part of the military museum and is located across the street from Lenin Park. A nice place to visit.

It is a flag tower located in front of Tanglong Huangcheng. It is also good for taking pictures in the background and is one of the landmarks of Hanoi ㅎㅎ
