St. Joseph's Cathedral
church was built in 1882. The Gothic style of architecture still retains the beauty of many principles of architecture, but it is somewhat ruined.
At the same time, it is also one of the ancient French buildings in Vietnam. It is built like the Notre Dame de Paris and there is another in Ho Chi Minh City. It is located in a quiet part of the old town and there are many hotels nearby.
Currently it can't go in and visit because the repair work is going on inside. However, despite this, the people who come here to take pictures are still in a constant stream, and there are even some new people who take wedding photos. If you are near here, it is still a good place to take pictures. It is worth noting that even after the repair is completed, women are not allowed to wear short-sleeved shorts.

St. Joseph's Cathedral, also known as the Hanoi Cathedral, is the oldest church in Hanoi. It is said to be built like the Notre Dame de Paris. It has medieval style and is a representative of French architecture in Hanoi. It was built in 1886, it is a Neo-Gothic style.
Although the appearance seems a bit mottled, the main interior of the church, the stained-glass window, and the square tower are worth seeing. The church door will only open when mass is held. The rest of the time, visitors need to enter from the side door which is in the alley on the left side of the church.
Nha Tho Street, opposite the Nha Tho Lon & Around, is home to Hanoi's emerging boutique shops and cafes, plus traditional French architecture and large trees, where you can enjoy a bit of leisure and romance.

St. Joseph's Cathedral is the largest church in Hanoi and is a neo-Gothic style of two spires. The interior of the church is beautifully decorated with beautiful stained glass. The exterior wall was originally constructed of black and white stone, which has been turned into black by corrosion and weathering. The bell tower of the church will ring the clock every hour, watching the church built like the Notre Dame de Paris, listening to the bells of the bell tower, can not help but remind people of the clock in the Notre Dame de Paris.
There is a school behind the church, but it is time for school, and many children are playing around the church. There is a wall painting behind the church. The wall painting is about the birth of the "Three Kings to the DPRK" story. It is said that when Jesus was born, a dazzling giant appeared in the sky above Bethlehem. When the stars flashed over Bethlehem, they were seen by three doctors in the East. The three doctors are saints and astrology. They know that this is the signal of the birth of the Savior. They ride camels, climb the mountains, desert, and wear plains. Follow the guidance of the stars and come to Bethlehem to find the Son Jesus to worship. . The
wall paintings are in place, but it has become a place to park motorcycles.

This time I did not do the Raiders in advance, completely random walking down the street, relying on the network, always responding + casual, and the convenience and stability of Roaming Superman gave me a lot of help~

I had an amazing experience in Hanoi and lucky to have visited the Cathedral that av heard about for years.
Beautiful cathedral. You’ll get the chance to go inside and take part of the mass. There are many shops around the area where you can see and enjoy the view.
Your visit to Hanoi will not be complete without seeing the Cathedral, we felt a whispering hope & shivering feeling when we saw it. Preservation of its look & people guarding the place to remind tourist of discipline & respect when there is a mass & they keep on taking pictures. The altar is an awe!
